On September 7, the Amazon cargo plane was involved in an accident in Miami, Florida, after veering off its course, resulting in five deaths and five injuries.

Amazon’s cargo plane departed from San Juan, Puerto Rico, at around 2 p.m. The Boeing 767-300, Amazon Prime Air Flight 7598, arrived at Miami International Airport on September 8. During landing, the aircraft suddenly veered off its course and collided with several parked cars. The collision caused a fire, and more than 200 emergency responders have been rescuing and controlling the scene. At least five people were killed and five others were injured.

This accident raised concerns beyond a simple landing incident. Although the exact cause has not yet been determined, the aircraft was reportedly traveling at approximately 207 km/h when it was landing. It was also revealed that the aircraft was a 32-year-old Boeing 767 that had been converted into a cargo aircraft.

Following the accident, Amazon stated that it would fully cooperate with the investigation. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has begun investigating the cause of the accident and stated that its top priorities are ensuring the safety of everyone involved and supporting the victims.
