On April 6, Park Ji-su made history in the WKBL by winning her fifth career MVP award. She led her team to victory and, with this achievement, tied for second place on the all-time MVP list.
Park was selected as the first overall pick in the 2016–2017 draft by the Cheongju KB Stars, officially beginning her professional career. She is a versatile player who has competed not only in Korea but also in Turkey and the United States.
The KB Stars began their season in November 2025 and secured the regular-season championship on March 30 after defeating BNK SUM with a score of 94-69. This was their first regular-season title in two years. Park Ji-su played a key role in the victory, recording 29 points and 10 assists for a double-double performance.
Many basketball fans are now looking forward to the upcoming playoff game between the KB Stars and Woori Won on April 8. It remains uncertain whether the KB Stars will achieve a combined championship or if a new champion will emerge.
