In this match, Korea had a game with a 3-4-2-1 formation. This friendly match was seen as a preparation for Korea’s World Cup opponent, Mexico. In this game, Kim Min Jae, Lee Kihyuk, and Lee Hanbeom are positioned as center backs, Seol Youngwoo and Lee Taeseok are positioned in wing backs. In the middle fielder line, Lee Jaeseong and Hwang Inbeom took the position. In the forwards, Hwang Hee Chan, Lee Donggyeong, and Cho Guesung led the overall offense.
Korea showed a lack of concentration in the initial game, making frequent pass mistakes and unstable game management. Korea pushed up the dense line to raise the possession and create an opportunity. Although they created some opportunities, the first half ended 0-0. In the second half, Korea had a free kick chance near the penalty box. Lee Donggyeong took a shot and scored the first goal. Both El Salvador and Korea tried to score in the second half, but the game ended 1-0, with Korea’s win.
